This unit has frequency limitations. Not useful while travelling abroad. But: the programming tips for the IC-24AT apply. The receiving frequency range can be increased by "B" and "#" keys while turning on for aircraft band plus 740 to 940 MHz band etc. Also the extended ham bands can be received. Cross band can be programmed by "funct" "5" and "D" while turning on.
